Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. Requirements include every Tuesday and 2-3 Thursdays per month. As an operating room nurse you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring their comfort and safety
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing support and maintaining a sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia administration during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by following strict infection control protocols
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and post-operative care accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and their families on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions

Qualifications:
- Valid PA license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient operating room setting

-OR Circulator and plastic surgery experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certification preferred

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
